Winchester Chamber Orchestra
Winchester Chamber Orchestra is a lively, friendly, amateur orchestra that started as an evening class for adults wanting to experience playing in an orchestra. To begin with, we would only attempt simple arrangements of orchestral music, but over the years the standard has improved and now we play full orchestral works in our concerts and are invited to accompany choirs needing an orchestra for their performances.
Charity Symphony Orchestra
The Charity Symphony Orchestra is a leading and successful fundraising ensemble based on the South Coast of England. The orchestra draws players from across the region and beyond from a pool of nearly 200 musicians.
Everyone involved with the orchestra, players and management give their time and skills for no reward. Programmes are prepared on the day of the concert only, the aim being to alleviate pressure from commitment of regular rehearsals.
The orchestra is very sociable and is a place where people can meet new friends as well as keeping in touch with friends and colleagues. It is a humbling experience to work with so many talented and enthusiastic musicians who give their time for free in order to help raise money for worthy causes.

City of Southampton Orchestra
The City Of Southampton Orchestra is one of the leading non-professional orchestras in the south of England, performing a wide variety of interesting works from across the orchestral repertoire. We have been established for over thirty years and perform five concerts each year, including one concert designed specifically to introduce children to orchestral music.
Conchord Singers
We are a small, friendly group, professionally led and based in Southampton. We give at least two local concerts a year, one
in November and one in May or June.
We sing a range of music spanning the 16th to the 20th centuries and in various styles, including folk songs, other part songs, longer classical works, classic popular songs and some new music. We are also a very international group. We welcome visitors from abroad who come from widely different musical traditions who would like to join us for a period. We have a regular exchange with the choir of St. André de L'Eure in Normandy.

Southampton University Symphony Orchestra
SUSO, an entirely student-run and student-funded orchestra, comprises the most talented musicians at the University of Southampton – across all degree programmes – and performs a wide-ranging repertoire of large-scale orchestral works to a high standard. SUSO rehearse every Wednesday during term-time from 7.00pm-10.00pm and holds six concerts each year; please see below and ‘Concerts’ for information on this year’s performances
